About us
Hi, people. How are you getting on? We're fine and calm, to say more truly, used to be calm till last time. The matter is that we took the responsibility of informing you and making you smile fairly. Generally we like our occupation very much.
I'll try to introduce us. We are Anushik, Natha, Anulik, Aram, me and our 8 cats, which are trying at least not to disturb us. The fair part of our group are future journalists. And our knight - knight in twice - is a medical student.
Anushik - our head, our editor and proofreader, she is too well read and too educated, but sometimes she had a rather human look. Her nick in the university is Pentium IV.
Natha - The most youthful, the most joyful and the most sociable (sometimes too sociable).
Anulik - the soul and the conscience of our company. She is the brightest person I've ever seen.
Aram - he's a fan of FC Bayern Munich, he is biting all the time, generally he loves animals but I have an impression, that our cats are an exclusion.
Me -I'm very, very, very humble person, so I'll keep silent.
This is very short about us. As you already guessed we are cubs that's why your opinion is so important for us. We'll be glad for every reference from you.

What are we interested in
Hi reader!
At last you have got an opportunity to meet us, so you can be sure, that the day didn't pass at random. Do you want to know what can we tell you? That's a secret yet, but as we're your best friends, we'll tell you all the truth. Do you know that in our small country there are a lot of youth organization and clubs. There is not only to many of them, but they are very different. Some of interests of our compatriots are just very strange. What can you say, for example, about men, who are building a large medieval ship in the country, which haven't any sea or a big river? There are clubs, where people come to play more or less intellectual games, like "What? Where? When?" or "Mafia", to discuss things like existentialism or mysterious problems of civilizations, to speak languages they prefer. Each of them is sure that the occupation he has selected is the most intelligent and interesting. And to some of them you can surely acquiesce. That's why we would like to introduce them to you, as well as to provide their E-mail addresses if it's possible.
Of course we couldn't even count all these clubs, but fortunately there are two organizations, which have done it for us. These are National Council of Armenian Youth and Union of Youth Clubs. The National Council of Armenian Youth was established on December 26 1997. It includes about 40 organizations and their number is rising. Lately it became candidate-member of European Youth Forum. The Council of Youth isn't governmental organization, but three members of it's presidium, including the president, Manvel Badalyan, are deputies of National Council RA, so it make easier carrying out of different projects.
As Ruben Markosyan, a member of presidium, said, the Council of Youth is something like umbrella for all organizations it includes. Besides this it always helps them to practice their programs even if these are local programs, which isn't usually, its problem. In the same time the Council takes part in creating and developing of national and international projects. Its proposition is determining contact with international youth institutions and Armenian young men abroad. If you want to meet them you can write:
We are grateful to the Council for the information they agreed to give us, so in every next issue of our page you can read about a club or youth organization and to know what Armenian young people are interested in.

What Yerevan sings about
Sometimes hobby turns to become the meaning and aim of one's life and perfectly that happened to singer Zaruhi Babayan.
Since age of ten she was singing in jazz group that had become kind of musical school for her.
Zaruhi started her solo career in 92 and soon received an invitation to work at Yerevan State Theatre of Song. When later the studio was opened under the aegis of the Theatre, she has considered it as lucky opportunity to combine her duties of professor with singer career.
The following short interview helps to understand Zaruhi better.
Q. Zaruhi, are you afraid of competence?
A. Definitely not, because I'm sure that everyone has its proper place in the life, not depending how large is your audience. I think that even one spectator indicates that your songs are required, and that simple truth makes the very meaning of competence aimless.
Q. What's your attitude to life?
A. I try to find the joy in my daily life and almost always avoid recalling past times. However, I could not resist an opportunity to live few days in XIX century - as a queen, sure. I don't like to think about distant future - maybe that's the reason why I had never read the science fiction.
Q. Are you married?
A. Not yet, but we'll marry soon.
Q. Aren't you afraid that your marriage can disturb your career.
A. I don't think so. Love is a strong thing and I think my husband will inspirit me for new achievements.
Q. Have you ever thought about your life after leaving the stage?
A. Sure, no. I'm so deep in music that such choice always seems unreal. However, I'm biologist/ecologist by education and hope to be useful if my singer career would end one day.
Let's wish to Zaruhi Babayan long years of creative life and new successes.

Zoo
Our young generation finally will take an opportunity to see rigorous and proud kind of the beasts not behind the two layers of the thick and dirty fender, where you can't even be sure that this is a lion, but not for example a cow, but in the conditions maximally approximated to natural. The matter is that the part of the charity contribution, provided by the US Armenian K. Kirkoryan for a public welfare of our city to it's approaching will be shared out to the Yerevan Zoo.
'The Zoo's share gives the opportunity to carry out some important projects - new enlarged area for lions, improved water supply system, as well as special expedition with aim to get rare and endemic Armenian mouflon' - explains the Zoo's Vice-Director Mr. Samvel Kaghramanyan.
If so, it means that soon we'll be able at very near time will get out of their many years lasted imprisonment to the area deserving his proud beauty.
