Graduated from Aleppo Saryan Academy in 1993.

Since 1989 he has been participating in individual and group exhibitions in Syria, Lebanon, Armenia, Jordan, Belgium.

Vrej is a member of the Union of Fine Arts in Syria since 1999.

The art of caricature and satiric drawing appears in a new form with Kassouny ans he approaches various social and artistic topics in his works with a satiric style and caricatures are mostly distinguished with portraits.

Kassouny possesses a sharp critical sense, his lines are simple and his colors brilliant although he sometimes declines to exaggerate with ridicule, yet he succeeds in criticizing the pathological figures and positions.

Now Vrej studies at Terlemezyan Fine Arts College in Yerevan. He is planning to enter Yerevan Fine Arts Academy.

Vrej also cooperates with newspapers in diaspora and Armenia such as "Gandzasar" (Aleppo), "Al-Jamahir" (Aleppo),"Zartonk" (Lebanon), "Hayastani Hanrapetutyun" (Yerevan).
